Albuquerque Couple Arrested for Armed Robberies Targeting Dispensary and Blake's Lotaburger Locations

An Albuquerque couple is behind bars, facing serious felony charges after law enforcement officials linked them to a series of armed robberies across the city. The suspects allegedly targeted three separate locations of the popular local chain Blake’s Lotaburger, as well as a local cannabis dispensary.

Investigators report that the robberies were carried out with a high degree of aggression, with the suspects threatening employees with firearms to demand cash from registers. Surveillance footage obtained from the targeted dispensary captured the burglaries in vivid detail, showing the suspects entering the premises and executing the thefts. This footage proved critical in allowing detectives to identify the suspects and their vehicle.

Following a coordinated effort by the Albuquerque Police Department, both suspects were apprehended without further incident. They have been charged with multiple counts of armed robbery, conspiracy, and felon in possession of a firearm. Prosecutors have indicated they will seek to keep both individuals detained pending trial, citing the violent nature of the offenses and the threat posed to public safety.
