Argument at Doral Twin Peaks Leads to Brain Bleed and Theft of Shoes; Suspect Detained

DORAL, Fla. — A violent altercation outside the popular Twin Peaks restaurant in Doral has left a man hospitalized with a life-threatening brain bleed and led to the arrest of a suspect who also allegedly stole the victim's shoes after the attack.

According to Doral Police, the confrontation began as a verbal dispute inside the restaurant before spilling out into the parking lot. The argument rapidly turned physical when the suspect allegedly struck the victim multiple times, causing him to fall and hit his head on the pavement. Witnesses reported that while the victim lay unconscious, the suspect proceeded to remove the victim's shoes and fled the scene.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local trauma center, where doctors diagnosed him with a severe brain bleed. His current condition is reported as critical but stable.

Detectives utilized surveillance footage and witness statements to identify the suspect. He was located and arrested shortly after the incident, facing charges of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and grand theft. Authorities are investigating the motive behind the initial argument.
