Arlington Lululemon Store Targeted Twice in Two Hours

A Lululemon retail store in Arlington was targeted by shoplifters twice within a span of just two hours on July 2, 2024, highlighting the escalating challenges of organized retail crime in the region. Police are investigating both incidents to determine if they were committed by the same suspect or organized group.

The first incident occurred in the early afternoon when a group of suspects entered the store, grabbed high-value athletic apparel, and walked out without paying. Less than two hours later, while staff were still processing the initial incident with security, a second group entered and executed a similar grab-and-go theft. Store employees did not attempt to physically intervene, adhering to company safety protocols.

Arlington County Police Department detectives are reviewing security footage from the store and surrounding retail properties. No arrests have been made yet, and anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is urged to contact local authorities.
