Arlington Police Arrest Man for Stealing $80,000 in Tools from Electric Utility

ARLINGTON, Texas — An Arlington man has been arrested and charged in connection with a major theft of industrial equipment from a local electric utility facility, police confirmed Wednesday.

The burglary took place at an electric company storage yard in Arlington, where the suspect allegedly gained unauthorized access and stole professional-grade tools and specialized equipment valued at approximately $80,000. The facility's management noticed the missing tools and reported the breach to law enforcement.

Following a detailed investigation, Arlington police officers located the suspect and recovered a substantial portion of the stolen industrial equipment, which has since been returned to the utility company. The suspect has been booked into jail on charges of grand theft and criminal trespass.
