Armed Group Robs Local Deli Shop in Chicago's Edison Park Neighborhood

CHICAGO — A quiet evening in Chicago's Edison Park neighborhood was disrupted when an armed group executed a robbery at a local deli shop, leaving employees shaken but uninjured.

According to the Chicago Police Department, the incident occurred when multiple masked individuals entered the deli. At least one of the suspects brandished a firearm, demanding that employees open the register and hand over cash. The group also took personal belongings from the workers before fleeing in an unidentified vehicle.
