Armed Intruder Sentenced After Terrifying Raid on Anya Taylor-Joy's London Home

An armed robber who attempted to break into the London home of Hollywood actress Anya Taylor-Joy has been sentenced to prison following a terrifying home invasion.

The incident took place when masked intruders smashed their way into the North London property. The actress and her husband, musician Malcolm McRae, were inside at the time. McRae reportedly barricaded the couple inside their bedroom as the suspect, armed with a crowbar, attempted to force entry into the room.

Police arrested the suspect, identified as Austin Newton, who was later found to have targeted other high-profile properties.
