Armed Robber Targets La Familia Bakery in Hesperia; Suspect Remains at Large

HESPERIA, CA — Local authorities are requesting public assistance to identify and locate a suspect involved in a daylight armed robbery at a local business on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred on September 27, 2025, at the popular La Familia Bakery, located in the heart of Hesperia. According to initial reports, an unidentified individual entered the establishment, brandished a weapon at employees, and demanded cash from the register.

Immediate Police Response

Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Hesperia Station rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the emergency call. Upon arrival, deputies secured the perimeter and began interviewing witnesses and reviewing available surveillance footage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the bakery staff or customers present during the heist.

Despite a swift search of the surrounding area, the suspect managed to flee before law enforcement arrived and remains at large. Police have not yet released a detailed physical description or surveillance photos of the perpetrator, but the investigation is active and ongoing.
