Armed Robbers Hold Up Store at Ala Moana Center at Gunpoint

HONOLULU, Hawaii — The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) has launched a manhunt for two male suspects who targeted a retail store within the Ala Moana commercial district. The armed robbery occurred on January 23, 2026, causing significant concern among local shoppers and merchants.

According to police investigations, the two suspects entered the store during business hours. One of the men brandished a handgun, threatening employees and demanding access to cash and merchandise. After securing the stolen items, the suspects fled the premises on foot, disappearing into the surrounding area before patrol units arrived.

HPD has released descriptions of the two individuals. Detectives are currently analyzing high-definition surveillance footage from security networks at Ala Moana to identify the suspects and trace their escape route.
