According to an article published on 24 August 2025 by the Nottinghampost, two men have been sentenced to seven years and four months in prison following an armed robbery at PG Jewellery and Collectables in Holbeach, Lincolnshire. The incident, which occurred on 30 May, involved two masked individuals who entered the shop wielding an axe and threatening the shop assistant.
The Nottinghampost reports that the perpetrators restrained the victim with duct tape and bungee cord before stealing watches, rings, necklaces, a mobile phone, a bank card, and cash. The total value of the stolen goods exceeded £50,000. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle that was later found burnt out. Following an investigation, the two men were apprehended by armed officers on the A1 in Nottingham and subsequently pleaded guilty to robbery at Lincoln Crown Court.
