Armed robbery reported in South Ockendon

According to an article published on 2 November 2024, Echonews reports that a robbery took place at a store located on South Road in South Ockendon. The incident occurred on Monday, 21 October, at approximately 6pm.

According to Echonews, a man entered the premises armed with a knife and demanded that cash be removed from the till. The individual subsequently fled the scene with approximately £200 in cash. Essex Police have since launched an investigation into the incident and are currently seeking to identify a man captured on CCTV footage.

Authorities have requested that anyone with relevant information, including CCTV, dash cam, or other footage, contact the police and quote the crime reference number 42/160501/24.
