Armed robbery at Bargain Booze in Wallasey

Merseyside Police were called to the Brighton Street premises on Tuesday, 9 April, at approximately 3:30pm after a man entered the shop, made threats at knife point, and demanded cash.
A customer restrained the individual until law enforcement arrived at the scene. Thomas McNulty, 57, of Littledale Road in Egremont, has been charged with robbery and possession of a knife blade or sharp-pointed article in a public place. He was scheduled to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court on 11 April.
