Armed Robbery at Germantown 7-Eleven Under Active Investigation

GERMANTOWN, MD โ€” Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are investigating an armed robbery at a local 7-Eleven store in Germantown. The incident, which took place in the evening hours on or before February 11, 2026, has raised concerns in the community.

According to investigators, the suspect or suspects entered the convenience store, brandished a weapon, and demanded cash and merchandise from the store employee. Out of fear for their safety, the employee complied with the demands. The suspects then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and goods.

No injuries were reported during the encounter. Officers are collecting surveillance footage from the 7-Eleven and neighboring businesses to identify the suspect. Police urge anyone with information to contact the major crimes division.
