Armed Robbery at Norwich Gas Station Linked to Montville Incident

NORWICH — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a gas station on West Main Street in Norwich. According to authorities, a man brandishing a handgun entered the convenience store, demanded money from the cashier, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators have now connected the incident to another armed robbery that took place in nearby Montville. Police departments from both jurisdictions are collaborating, sharing surveillance footage and witness descriptions to identify the suspect, who is described as a male wearing dark clothing.

Law enforcement officials have urged anyone who was near West Main Street at the time of the robbery or has information about the suspect to contact the police department. A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
