According to Men, a woman was the victim of an armed robbery outside the San Carlo restaurant on Wilmslow Road in Alderley Edge. The incident occurred on the night of Saturday, March 29.

Men reports that a 35-year-old woman was walking to her vehicle when she was approached by an unknown man wearing a balaclava. The assailant threatened the victim with a pair of scissors before stealing a gold Rolex watch and a red Hermes handbag. The suspect then fled on foot toward a nearby Texaco garage and onto Davey Lane.

Cheshire Police confirmed that the victim was uninjured during the encounter, though she was left shaken by the event. Detectives are currently investigating the robbery and have increased police presence in the area to reassure the public. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who possesses relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact Cheshire Constabulary or Crimestoppers.
