Armed Robbery Reported at South Abilene Store

ABILENE, Texas — The Abilene Police Department is actively searching for an armed suspect involved in a commercial robbery on the south side of the city. The incident occurred at a local convenience store, where a lone suspect entered the business and confronted the clerk working behind the counter.

According to investigators, the suspect produced a firearm and held the clerk at gunpoint, demanding cash from the register. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the perpetrator fled the scene.
