Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested After Holding Up St. Petersburg Gas Station

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Petersburg police have arrested a man accused of holding up a local gas station at gunpoint.

The armed robbery occurred when the suspect entered the convenience store, brandished a firearm at the clerk, and demanded cash from the register. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the premises. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Following a swift investigation, law enforcement officers identified and located the suspect, taking him into custody without further incident. The suspect has been booked into the county jail and faces charges of armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
