Armed Suspect at Large After Peoria Grocery Store Robbery

PEORIA, Illinois — Authorities in Peoria are asking for the public's assistance in identifying an armed suspect who carried out a robbery at a local grocery store.

According to police reports, the suspect entered the business, brandished a firearm at the cashier, and demanded money from the register. The employee complied with the demands, and the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the encounter.
