Armored Truck Security Guards Shot Dead Outside Las Vegas-Area Department Store

LAS VEGAS, NV — A quiet shopping afternoon turned into a scene of horror when gunmen ambushed an armored truck outside a suburban Las Vegas department store, shooting and killing two security guards in what authorities are calling an extremely brutal and planned attack.

The double shooting occurred in the parking lot adjacent to a busy department store. According to eyewitnesses, as the guards were transferring cash deposits between the store and their armored vehicle, at least two armed suspects approached and opened fire without warning. Both guards were struck multiple times and died at the scene despite emergency lifesaving efforts.

"It's Evil, It's Brutal"

Local law enforcement officials expressed outrage over the ruthless nature of the crime. During a press conference, police representatives characterized the suspects as highly dangerous individuals who showed complete disregard for human life.

The suspects fled the scene in a getaway vehicle, which was later found abandoned a few miles away. Police believe they switched to a second vehicle to evade detection.
