A daring ATM heist in Troy, Michigan, ended in the arrest of two suspects who were captured during a lavish shopping spree at the Somerset Collection luxury mall. The incident began early in the morning when the suspects utilized a stolen truck to forcibly access and rip open a bank ATM, escaping with approximately $138,000 in cash.

The Heavy-Duty Heist

According to the Troy Police Department, the suspects targeted the ATM using a heavy-duty truck that had been reported stolen. The vehicle was used to drag the machine apart, allowing the suspects to access the cash cassettes inside. After securing the money, the suspects abandoned the truck and fled the area, initiating a rapid response from local law enforcement and forensic investigators.
