ATM stolen in ram-raid at Sainsbury's in Milton Keynes
Ram-raid incident at Brooklands supermarket
According to an article published by Bucksfreepress on 27 October 2025, a supermarket in Brooklands, Milton Keynes, was targeted in a ram-raid. Thames Valley Police reported that at approximately 00:50 on Sunday, 26 October, a digger was used to force entry into the Sainsbury's store, resulting in significant damage to the premises.
Bucksfreepress reports that the suspects successfully stole an ATM during the incident. Images circulating on social media show a JCB vehicle damaging the storefront and removing signage from the building. Following the burglary, a scene watch was established, and police have increased their presence in the area.
Thames Valley Police has launched a witness appeal regarding the burglary. Authorities are requesting that anyone with information, particularly those with CCTV or video footage of the incident, contact them by calling 101 and quoting reference number 43250546164. This event follows a recent attempted ram-raid at a Nationwide branch in nearby Olney, where a telehandler was used but the ATM was not stolen.
Business owners are encouraged to review their external security measures and consider installing bollards or reinforced barriers to prevent vehicle-based access to their storefronts.
