Armed robbery at M&S store in Warrington

According to an article published by Warringtonguardian on 12 December 2025, an armed gang broke into the Marks and Spencer store located on Europa Boulevard in Gemini, Warrington. The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, between 12.25am and 12.50am.

Warringtonguardian reports that four men arrived at the scene in a dark-coloured car. The suspects, armed with a crowbar and a large angle grinder, forced entry into the building. Once inside, they targeted an ATM and stole a quantity of cash before fleeing the area. Cheshire Police have launched an investigation and are currently appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Christian Gordon has urged anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or possesses CCTV or dashcam footage from the M&S car park and the surrounding Ikea area during the time of the incident to contact the authorities. Enquiries remain ongoing.

Businesses are encouraged to ensure that high-value assets and cash points are monitored by robust security systems and integrated alarm protocols.
