Burglary at M&S store in Warrington

According to Liverpoolecho, a Marks & Spencer store in Warrington was targeted by a group of men during the early hours of Friday, December 12. Four unidentified suspects arrived at the Europa Boulevard location in a dark-coloured car between 12.25am and 12.50am.

The group forced their way into the building using tools, including a crowbar and a large angle grinder. Once inside, they targeted an ATM and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash shortly before 12.50am.

Detectives are currently investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage from the M&S car park and Ikea area to come forward. Information can be reported to the police by calling 101, quoting IML 2231730, or anonymously via Crimestoppers.

Business owners are encouraged to ensure that high-value assets and cash machines are protected by monitored alarm systems and reinforced security measures.
