ATM Theft at South Plainfield Gas Station: Suspects Caught

Two suspects were apprehended after an ATM theft at a South Plainfield gas station, with a total of $10,000 in cash stolen. The incident occurred on January 12, 2024, at the BP gas station located at 1400 New Market Road. The suspects used a vehicle to ram into the gas station, gaining access to the ATM inside. The suspects were able to escape with the stolen money and fled the scene in a stolen vehicle.

Police were able to apprehend the suspects shortly after the incident. The suspects were identified as two males, aged 20 and 25. No injuries were reported in the incident.
