Northernirelandworld reports that a masked man, armed with a gun, entered the business and threatened staff members while demanding money from the till. The suspect fled the scene before completing the robbery. Following the incident, officers arrested a man in his 60s on suspicion of attempted robbery and possession of a firearm or imitation firearm while committing an offence.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland has requested that anyone who witnessed the event, or who possesses relevant CCTV or other footage, contact them on 101, quoting reference 1908 24/04/26.
