Attempted burglary at a shop in Seaforth

According to Liverpoolecho, Merseyside Police have launched an investigation following an attempted burglary at a shop in Seaforth. The incident occurred on the evening of 23 October 2024 at the Affordable Vet Practice located on the Stella Precinct on Seaforth Road.

Liverpoolecho reports that offenders used a 4x4 Daihatsu vehicle to ram the shop front and damage the shutters at approximately 9.30pm. Following the impact, two men exited the vehicle and fled the scene alongside two other individuals on electric bikes, heading in the direction of Seaforth train station. The vehicle used in the attempt has been recovered by police for forensic examination.

Detective Inspector Sam Davies stated that the investigation is in its early stages. Authorities are currently conducting CCTV and witness enquiries and are appealing for anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Merseyside Police. Business owners are encouraged to regularly review and reinforce the physical security measures of their premises to deter unauthorized access.
