According to an article published on 21 October 2025 by Cambridgenews, an attempted ram raid took place at a Co-op store located on Oundle Road in Peterborough. The incident occurred during the early hours of Sunday, 19 October.

Cambridgenews reports that Cambridgeshire Police were alerted to an attempted ATM theft at the premises at approximately 3:43 am. Although officers arrived at the scene within three minutes of the call, the suspects had already fled the area. According to the report, the individuals involved left the scene empty-handed.

An investigation into the attempted burglary is currently ongoing. Authorities have not released further details regarding the suspects at this time.
