Bellingham Man Arrested After Attempted Break-In and Threats of Violence Against Neighbor

BELLINGHAM, WA — A Bellingham resident is facing serious charges after allegedly attempting to break into a neighbor’s residence and threatening them with violence on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

Police officers were dispatched to the residential neighborhood following an emergency call from a terrified homeowner. The victim reported that a male neighbor was actively trying to force entry into their home while shouting threats of physical harm.

Responding officers arrived quickly at the scene and located the suspect nearby. He was detained and subsequently arrested. Investigators found evidence of attempted entry at the victim’s door, supporting the homeowner's account of the incident.
