Brazen Broad Daylight ATM Heist in Downtown Los Angeles Captured on Video

Detectives in the Los Angeles Police Department are searching for a group of thieves who carried out a brazen, daylight heist in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles on Friday. The suspects used an SUV to forcibly steal an entire ATM from a commercial property, leaving behind a trail of destruction.

The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the heavily trafficked downtown area, shocking onlookers and passersby. According to witnesses and security footage, a large sport utility vehicle backed up to the target machine. Several individuals emerged from the vehicle, secured chains or heavy straps around the ATM, and used the vehicle's engine power to yank the machine completely off its concrete foundation.

Once the ATM was dislodged, the suspects loaded the heavy machine into the back of the SUV before speeding away from the scene. The entire operation took only a matter of minutes. The LAPD has launched an active investigation, utilizing city street cameras and private security footage to track the getaway vehicle's route.
