Bridgeport Restaurant Targeted in Overnight ATM Theft Captured on Video

An overnight burglary at a popular Bridgeport eatery has left business owners shaken after thieves managed to steal an ATM from the premises. The entire incident was captured on surveillance video, showing a coordinated effort by the perpetrators.

The incident occurred at Taqueria San Jose, a Mexican restaurant located on South Halsted Street in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. According to investigators, the burglars forced entry into the establishment during the early morning hours. Once inside, they focused their efforts on the restaurant's automated teller machine (ATM), quickly dislodging it and loading it into a waiting vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The owner of the restaurant expressed frustration over the break-in, citing the cost of repairs and the disruption to their daily operations.
