Brinks Guard Opens Fire During Attempted Armored Truck Heist in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A high-stakes confrontation unfolded in Philadelphia on Tuesday afternoon when a Brink's armored transport guard opened fire on suspects during a brazen attempted robbery, police reported.

The incident took place on July 15, 2025, as a Brink's courier was performing routine duties.
