Burbank Burglary Arrests Linked to San Fernando Valley Break-in Rash
BURBANK, CA โ A rash of home burglaries in the San Fernando Valley has prompted heightened vigilance from local residents, culminating in the arrest of three suspects over the weekend. Burbank police officials confirmed that the apprehension was made possible due to a quick-thinking neighbor who spotted suspicious activity and immediately contacted law enforcement.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening, April 26, 2026, in the 2700 block of Scott Road. Around 7:20 p.m., a nearby resident noticed two individuals dressed in dark clothing entering a neighbor's backyard. The neighbor observed the suspects crawling into the residence through a window and noticed a suspicious vehicle parked across the street, serving as a potential getaway car.
Burbank Police Department officers responded to the scene within minutes. Upon arrival, officers saw two suspects fleeing the residence. Law enforcement established a secure containment perimeter and requested support from a police helicopter to track down the fleeing suspects. The search ended in another nearby backyard, where both individuals were found hiding.
According to police, one of the suspects refused to comply with officers' commands during the arrest and was subsequently bitten by a Burbank police K-9. A third suspect, identified as the driver of the getaway vehicle, was arrested shortly after inside a car matching the neighbor's initial description.
The three suspects have been identified as Alan Rodriguez-Pulido, 34, Wilmar Castelblanco-Robles, 20, and Cristian Rios-Cuadros, 24. All three individuals were booked into the Los Angeles County jail on residential burglary charges, as investigators work to determine if they are linked to other recent break-ins in the wider San Fernando Valley area.
