Burglar Dies After Late-Night Home Invasion in Bend, Oregon

On March 16, 2026, a burglar broke into a home in Bend, Oregon, through a rear window. The homeowner, awakened by the noise, confronted the intruder. The burglar, identified as 28-year-old John Doe, was fatally injured after falling off a balcony during the altercation. Doe was pronounced dead at the scene. The homeowner was unharmed.
