Burglars Break Into Eden's Food and Liquor in Jefferson Park

CHICAGO — Authorities are investigating a break-in at a food and liquor store in the Jefferson Park neighborhood on the city's Northwest Side, according to Chicago Police.

The burglary took place at Eden's Food and Liquor, located on West Foster Avenue. Officers responded to an alarm at the business and discovered that the premises had been breached. The suspects had already fled the scene by the time police arrived.

An inventory of stolen items is being compiled by the business owners, and police are reviewing security camera footage to identify the individuals involved. The Chicago Police Department has not released suspect descriptions, and no arrests have been reported.
