Burglars Steal Hundreds of Pounds of Goods in Ocean Pleasure Beach Raid

The popular Ocean Beach Pleasure Park in South Shields has become the latest target of local burglars, who managed to escape with hundreds of pounds worth of stock and goods during a late-night raid on the seaside attraction.

Intruders targeted several kiosks and storage areas within the pleasure beach, breaking secure locks to gain entry. The stolen items include merchandise, prizes, and confectionary stock, leaving the park operators to face both the cost of repairs and the loss of revenue.

Investigation and Seaside Security

Management at the attraction are cooperating fully with Northumbria Police, supplying them with extensive high-definition CCTV footage from the park's security network.

"Ocean Beach is a staple of our local community and tourism," a local ward councillor commented. "To see it targeted in this manner is extremely disappointing. We urge anyone with information to contact the police so we can keep our coastal businesses safe."
