Early Thursday, thieves targeted a DTLR sportswear store on 71st Street in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood, using a Jeep to execute a smash-and-grab burglary. This incident was one of four recent smash-and-grab burglaries in the Chicago area involving a Jeep. The thieves broke through the store's entrance in mere moments, fleeing the scene with an estimated $10,000 in merchandise.

The burglars escaped in the Jeep, which was later found abandoned. Police are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects. No injuries were reported in the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
