Police appeal following incidents at Kidderminster school

According to an article published on 3 May 2025 by Kidderminstershuttle, West Mercia Police are investigating multiple reports of burglary and criminal damage at Birchen Coppice Primary Academy. The first burglary occurred on Saturday, April 19, between 2:30pm and 3:00pm, during which three male youths caused damage to three wooden outbuildings and stole a metal box. The same group reportedly returned at 5:00pm that day with two additional individuals, causing further damage to a memorial plant, a wooden fence, and a wooden caravan.

Additionally, Kidderminstershuttle reports that police are investigating a separate incident of criminal damage that took place at the school on April 17 at 7:00pm. During this event, the school's main gates were damaged after force was used to open them, and a group of youths was observed trespassing on the grounds.

PC Rachael Perry is requesting that anyone with relevant CCTV or doorbell footage contact the authorities. Information can also be provided via the West Mercia Police website using incident reference 22/38256/25.

Business owners are encouraged to regularly inspect perimeter fencing and secure all outbuildings to deter unauthorized access.
