Burglary and Theft at Lincoln Gas Station and Grocery Store

On the night of October 10, 2023, a gas station and a grocery store in Lincoln were targeted in separate incidents. At approximately 10:30 PM, an unknown assailant broke into the gas station located at 123 Main Street. The suspect gained entry by smashing a window and made off with $500 in cash from the register. The assailant was last seen fleeing the scene on foot, heading northbound on Main Street. No injuries were reported in this incident.

Later that night, around 11:45 PM, a grocery store at 456 Elm Street was burglarized. The suspect broke into the store through a rear door, which had been left unlocked. The thief stole an estimated $1,500 worth of merchandise, including cigarettes, alcohol, and snacks. The suspect escaped the scene undetected. No injuries were reported in this incident either.

Lincoln Police are actively investigating both incidents and have released surveillance footage of the suspects. The footage shows a male suspect wearing a dark hoodie and jeans in both incidents.
