Police investigate smash-and-grab at Warrnambool milk bar

According to an article published on 2 May 2025 by Standardnetau, police are investigating a burglary at a milk bar located at the corner of Derby Street and Raglan Parade in Warrnambool. Detective Senior Constable Richard Hughes of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit reported that the incident occurred at approximately 11.30pm on Friday, 2 May 2025.

Standardnetau reports that an offender used a rock to smash the front glass window of the Derby Street Milk Bar before kicking it in to gain entry. Once inside, the individual stole an amount of cash from the business before fleeing the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the matter and have urged anyone with relevant information to contact the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Business owners are encouraged to ensure that security systems and alarm sensors are fully functional and regularly tested to deter unauthorized entry.
