According to an article published by Stokesentinel on 10 March 2026, a burglary occurred at a pet shop located on Morris Square in Wolstanton. The incident, which targeted the reptile specialist Just Scales, took place sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Stokesentinel reports that the perpetrator escaped with a cash register containing a small amount of money. The break-in forced the business to remain closed throughout the following Friday. Staffordshire Police have confirmed they are investigating the incident and are currently reviewing local CCTV footage to identify the individual responsible.
