Burglary at Crickhowell Service Station

According to an article published by Countytimes on 13 March 2025, three men have been arrested and charged following a burglary at a petrol station in Crickhowell. Dyfed-Powys Police reported that the incident occurred shortly before midnight on Monday, 10 March.

During the raid, damage was caused to the glass door of the Crickhowell Service Station, and a quantity of vapes and alcohol was stolen. Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police, supported by Gwent Police, located a suspect vehicle and apprehended three men from the South Wales area.

The suspects, identified as Stephen Howells, 30, Jamie Mark Williams, 42, and James Luke Young, 30, appeared at Merthyr Magistrates Court on 12 March. They have been remanded to appear at Merthyr Crown Court on 9 April. In response to this event and other recent incidents, local police have increased high-visibility patrols in the Crickhowell area to provide community reassurance.

Business owners are encouraged to ensure that all entry points are properly secured and that alarm systems are fully operational to deter unauthorized access.
