Break-in reported at Kidlington residence

According to an article published by Oxfordmail on 3 June 2025, Thames Valley Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a private home in Kidlington. The incident took place on the evening of Saturday, 17 May, at a property located on Vicarage Road.

Oxfordmail reports that three offenders gained entry to the home by smashing a window. While the residents, a man and a woman in their 70s, were not present at the time, the intruders conducted a search of the premises, causing significant mess. Authorities believe that nothing was stolen during the break-in.

Police have since released CCTV images of three individuals of interest who were wearing recognisable clothing at the time of the offence. Detective Constable Sophie Smith is appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to contact the police by calling 101, quoting crime reference number 43250243105, or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously.
