Residential burglary reported in Alderley Edge

According to an article published by the Mirror on 30 January 2026, a gang ransacked a £4million mansion located in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. The property, which serves as a private home, was targeted while the residents were away.

Cheshire Police confirmed that they received reports of the burglary shortly after 11.10pm on Wednesday, 28 January. Upon arrival, officers determined that entry had been made to the premises and a number of items, including jewelry, electronics, and clothing, had been stolen. The Mirror reports that the homeowners discovered the scene upon their return later that evening.

The residence features various security measures, including a zoned alarm system, CCTV, electric gates, and a security detail. Police have stated that enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing.
