Residential burglary reported in Poole

According to an article published on 1 August 2025, a group of masked individuals armed with hammers broke into a private home in Poole. Portsmouth reports that the intruders gained access to the property by smashing through the front door on the night of Friday, July 25.

The suspects were captured on CCTV cameras attempting to search the premises for valuables. According to the report, jewellery was taken during the incident. The homeowners were reportedly away at the time of the break-in.

Dorset Police confirmed they received a report of the burglary and that officers attended the scene to conduct enquiries. An investigation into the incident is currently underway, and no arrests have been made at this time.

Homeowners are encouraged to ensure all entry points are properly secured and to consider installing monitored alarm systems to deter unauthorized access.
