Police investigate break-in at Oadby travel agency

According to Leicestermercury, a forensics team was deployed to a travel agency in Oadby following a burglary reported on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Leicestershire Police stated that they received a call at 10:59 p.m. regarding a break-in in progress at the Hay's Travel premises located on The Parade.

Officers arrived at the scene to find that the suspects had already fled after forcing entry through the rear of the building. The business remained closed on Wednesday, June 17, with a spokesperson citing "unforeseen circumstances" for the disruption. While the physical site is closed, the company has diverted telephone lines to another branch to handle urgent customer queries.
