Jewellery shop targeted in Hartley Wintney

According to an article published by the Basingstokegazette on 4 December 2025, a jewellery shop was targeted in a burglary in Hartley Wintney. Officers from Hampshire Constabulary were called to the scene at A W Porter and Son jewellers on High Street at 2.47am on Wednesday, December 3.

It was reported that the entrance to the store was forced before items were taken. Police are currently working to identify the stolen property and have not made any arrests at this stage. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the High Street area at the time or who noticed suspicious activity in the days leading up to the incident.
