Break-in at Loughborough catering unit

According to an article published on 11 April 2024, a burglary occurred at the Café Express mobile catering unit located in the B&Q car park in Loughborough. According to Uknewsyahoo, the incident took place overnight on Friday, 5 April.

The business owners reported that cash, including a float, and stock were stolen during the break-in. CCTV footage of the event shows individuals filling backpacks with items from the unit. This incident marks the fourth time the business has been targeted by burglars over the last few years, leaving the owners demoralised regarding the future of their operations.

Leicestershire Police confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the burglary. A spokesperson stated that the force is continuing to make inquiries into the incident. The owners have since received support from the public following the release of the security footage.
