Break-in at Greenfields Junior School
According to an article published by the Basingstokegazette on 11 August 2025, a 14-year-old boy has been arrested following a burglary at Greenfields Junior School in Hartley Wintney. The incident occurred on August 6 between 4.30am and 9am during the school's summer holidays.
Hampshire Constabulary reports that windows and doors inside the premises were damaged, and interactive whiteboards were also affected. Additionally, lockers were accessed, and a quantity of laptops and iPads were allegedly stolen. The total value of the criminal damage is reported to be over £5,000.
The 14-year-old suspect from Hartley Wintney was arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage. He has since been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.
