Burglary at private home in Northumberland
Residential burglary in Northumberland
According to an article published on 5 March 2025 by Guardianng, the home of Newcastle striker Alexander Isak was raided by a group of burglars. The incident occurred last April while the player was away from his residence.
Guardianng reports that the intruders gained entry through a glass door and conducted a search of the property. The burglars stole cash estimated between ยฃ5,000 and ยฃ10,000, jewellery valued at approximately ยฃ68,000, and an Audi car, which was later recovered by the public. The court was told that the suspects were a professional group of travelling burglars who had arrived in Britain via ferry.
Three members of the family involved have admitted to conspiracy to commit burglary, while a fourth, Valentino Nikolov, denies the charge. The trial is currently ongoing at Newcastle Crown Court, where jurors were shown CCTV footage of the break-in.
Ensure all entry points, including glass doors and windows, are secured with high-quality locks and consider installing a monitored alarm system to deter unauthorized access.
