According to an article published on 11 November 2025, Raheem Sterling confronted a group of masked burglars at his home in Reading. The incident occurred on a Saturday evening between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm while the footballer’s family was inside the property.

According to Men, approximately five individuals entered the home while Sterling was preparing to watch a match. Upon hearing the intruders, Sterling moved to ensure his partner and children were safe before confronting the group. Reports indicate that the intruders fled the scene after being challenged by the homeowner. Thames Valley Police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter and have requested that anyone with relevant information or who observed suspicious activity in the area contact the authorities.

A spokesperson for the player confirmed that he and his family are safe, though they have requested privacy following the event. This incident marks the third time the player has been targeted by criminals at his residence in seven years.
