Burglary reported at Oxfordshire property

According to an article published by Oxfordmail on 7 May 2024, a private home in Oxfordshire was targeted by a gang of burglars. The incident occurred while the homeowner was away filming a television appearance.

Thames Valley Police reported that the burglary took place between 5:50 pm on 7 April and 9:00 am on 8 April. According to reports, the perpetrators forced the front gate of the property after dark to carry out a smash and grab burglary. Following the incident, crime scene investigators were seen by neighbours taking photographs of the property, and police conducted house-to-house inquiries.

It has not been disclosed whether any items were stolen during the raid, or if family members were present at the residence at the time. Thames Valley Police have confirmed that an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
